Since the original backsplash was essentially the same as the tile on the floor it had to go away. We were inspired by our trip to Cuba and decided on some beautiful Italian porcelain tile made in to look as if it came from Cuba.

We could tell immediately that we made the right choice. The kitchen is going to have an entirely different ambience.

We must thank Mr. Contractor for bringing together Rudy and his crew on the floor and Cliff and his crew on the backsplash.

We are thrilled. Our vision has been realized.
