This blog began in December 2009 to document a major renovation/add-on to our lovely little home. This was the third major work we had done to the house. The first of the two prior was in 2001 to update the kitchen, bathroom, enclose the front porch and add French doors to the bedroom adjacent to the living room. The other prior was in 2004 to replace the exterior vinyl siding with hardie board. At the same time, we moved the electrical box from the front to the side of the house.

So, over the years this little house has had a few updates. If we ever find the time, we’ll update this blog to include the earlier renovations.

This house was the home of my grandfather Vito when he moved here in 1947. Thank you granddaddy for this gem. Thank you dad for making the purchase of this gem possible.
